The rooms are stunning and it’s clear a lot of money and thought has went into the design of this hotel. Unfortunately it seems the there’s not a lot of money being put into the running of it.

The staff were all lovely but the breakfast was awful. My Ulster fry was poor quality as was my girlfriends salmon and scrambled egg. I really hope they can sort these issues as we would love to return.

Good afternoon,

Thank you for your review as and also thank you for bringing to our attention your disappointment in the breakfast as we need feedback on anything we may have fallen short on, so that we can review and improve.

I really do hope that we can welcome you back again and show you that we do a breakfast to set you up for the day.

Looking forward to seeing you soon we hope.

I never normally write review but felt I really need to let everyone in on this hidden gem on the north coast. We stayed over night on bank holiday Sunday! What a beautiful unique boutique hotel! the décor is beautiful! largest his and hers bathroom I've seen with large overhead shower heads and a huge free standing bath. Everything in this hotel has been well thought out and its all so easy on the eye. The staff are just lovely nothing was a bother for them. We even got a free drink on the house for chatting too the super friendly bar staff! as we complimented them on how fab their French martinis were. We had Sunday lunch and also breakfast which was 5 star. Cant wait to go back!

Room Tip: deluxe room that we stayed in was stunning on 2nd floor no noise - we just left them a note when we booked and they accommodated everything

We visited Me and Mrs Jones for a night to celebrate the birth of our first child. We were looking forward to relaxing in the luxurious surroundings promised by the website. Unfortunately I can't say that the reality lived up to expectation.

On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who checked us in promptly. Our room was on the first floor, thankfully as the lift was broken. On entering the room, we were greeted by a spacious bedroom and separate seating area which looked out onto the bar (avoid this type of room if late night music isn't your thing). The room was lovely, however within minutes of arriving we started to notice that a few things weren't quite right.

The bathroom floor was dirty, the bedside light kept flickering on and off, there was a missing ceiling tile in the bathroom, the curtain tie back was broken and lying on the floor and the wifi didn't work. My husband reported all to reception who wa extremely apologetic. He then sent the manager up to our room. Again she was very friendly and apologetic and as the hotel was full, apologised that she couldn't move us but would reflect the problems in the bill and send up a bottle of bubbly.

The problems didn't end there unfortunately. On returning from dinner we were locked out of our room, apparantly we had one of the few rooms which had a Yale lock on it which had locked itself?!

Breakfast time was also laughable, my cup and plate were dirty and breakfast was average to say the least.

For a premium prices hotel which promises so much, it was disappointing to say the least that, on this occasion it just didn't deliver.

We can't complain about the staff however, they're all very friendly and helpful.

This property has great potential, just a little closer attention to detail necessary.

We were also told by management that our room had been "wrecked" by precious guests, don't be afraid to close the room for a couple of days and charge those responsible for your loss. You have a lovely property and it's not ok for people to treat it badly.

Sorry we can't be more positive on this occasion.

Myself and 3 colleagues stayed here 5-7th March ‘18 - all 4 of us got food poisoning on the first evening from the hotel restaurant. I was told the General Manager would be informed? Two out of the three nights we were all woken by noise after midnight until 2:30am

Stayed at this beautiful hotel for a work trip for two nights . The staff are a credit to the hotel , so friendly and welcoming and go out of their way to help you in any way they can. Food was gorgeous . I took the package deal which was amazing . Rooms are beautiful . I felt like a VIP for a couple of nights . I would highly recommend this hotel and am looking forward to my next visit .
