“Really lovely cottage - thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.”
Reviewed 8 November 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Church Steps is a lovely cottage tucked away in an ideal location. There is lots to do around the area. We had a very enjoyable week here.

“Beautiful cottage and surroundings, in need of some updating”

We have stayed in many similar places around the UK, usually looking at upper end of the market rentals in rural areas. The area is lovely with walks direct from the cottage. Close by is Stonehenge new Forrest and other noteworthy places. A lovely cottage and terraced garden ( enclosed which is great if you have a dog) the only down side was that the bathroom was a bit out of date and also the kitchen utensils and fittings a bit used. The place could have been a bit cleaner ( Windows in kitchen cobwebby and grubby) None of this really mattered except that for the price paid we would have expected it. So I think the cottage is in need of a refurb - and then it would get 5 stars.

“Beautiful Cottage in a lovely village”
Reviewed 29 February 2016 for a stay in December 2015

We spent a week at this cottage at Christmas last year, the whole family got together. The property was clean and warm and certainly exceeded our expectations. I would recommend without delay and would certainly go back.

“A delightful cottage, as described”

Located in the middle of a quiet, unspoilt hamlet in the Wylye valley. Dozens of great walks from the cottage, many alongside the crystal clear Wylye river. The outrage is comfortable ad very adequately furnished. The 'double' room is a bit tight, but was just fine for us. It has a secluded 3-tiered garden and access to a permanently own, consecrated, but not used church. Wonderful.
