We ordered our fish and chips on line and my husband - who is nearly 80 turned up on the dot and gave his number to the assistants. He was then made to wait outside for 25 minutes on the coldest night of the year (-4 degrees C). After 15 minutes he asked what had happened - they appeared to have lost the order. He watched someone who had not ordered on line come and take his food away. Still he waited. The staff were dozy and disinterested. He was so cold that he could hardly eat when he eventually reached home. To add insult to injury the chips were greasy, cold and completely disgusting.
Shame on you Harlees - we won't be coming back

Consistently great fish and chips and excellent service, from Jade in particular, recent refit has made is better than it was before.

I've only just started using Harlees in the last month.im a carer and the chap I look after loves his fish and chips. I have been very lucky to find this one. First of all the fish and chips are cooked fresh and are delicious. Nice crispy fish cooked to perfect not greasy and the chips also the same. The staff are excellent always ask how I am and dish it all up with a happy smile. Excellent service lovely people cannot wait to see them again next week but more importantly when they can allow sit down meals I'll be first in the queue. Matt

We were driving back to Bath and noticed the chip shop was open, a quick right turn into the car park. I’m so glad we did the chips were cooked to perfection and not one bit of grease in sight, the curry sauce was pretty good too

Happened to be in BoA for an urban wander and knew we wanted lunch out, happened to walk past here and saw that they were open and have a restaurant for sit in eating. Popped in and was seated immediately, and with the food and drinks orders taken quickly. The food was delicious and great value for money. The staff were friendly without being in your face. And the decor, wow, just amazing. So fun and full of history whilst still being modern and relavant. Can't wait to return.
