Paradise Island Resort & Spa

Its paradise 4 all - cause it has loads of activities, sports and entertainment for all , any age, country or religion. We were two couples in all. As the name says its location amidst coral re,efs on all sides, clean blue waters, whitest sands and beautiful sea-life.
We were delighted to spot sting-ray, blue-ray and shark just on arrival from the bridge itself ! Snorkelling and scuba diving are the things you shouldnt miss afterall Maldives is famous for it. Its a large island by walk thus we were provided with buggy service to and fro from our rooms which were far off from restaurent and activity centres. Water sports are very good though submarine was not there. Night parties, bands and jams are entertaining. Water villas are excellent. if not in budget go for beach bunglows atleast. We enjoyed several sport activites and spa as well. In the end felt even 5 days stay was not enough.
It was variety of vegetarian food that we missed. there is variety for non-vegs only. we had to be satisfied by very few indian dishes, fruits and desserts. two 1.5l bottles were provided everyday. Indians should take halfboard only and carry packaged ready to eat items for lunch. we carried lots of things so didnt had any problems. don't forget ta apply loads of sun-screen and anti-tan or else you will also suffer from sun-burns.
Overall it was my best honeymoon ever. Had lots of fun and adventure.

Room Tip: Look for room nearer to the reception. avoid far ends.

I owe a review to trip advisor - as this is where I decide what and where of my trip...
We went for our honeymoon to this resort in the end of October ‘11. I was skeptical in the beginning of the experience, but ignore what I write below, in one word it was 'Amazing'.
The weather was nice with sun and breeze in the day and breeze with rain in the night. The rooms were clean, spacious and organized. We opted for 3 nights’ beach bungalow and 1 night water villa and every moment was worth every dime we spent. It had all the ingredients for a couple to bond together. The view from the room of the sea was absolutely marvelous. The last night at water villa was un-forgettable due to its concept and setting. It is a private villa where you can relax and spent some quality time listening to the wave’s music all night. If budget is not a constraint then go for water villa only.
The buffet was filling and good covering most of the food and delicacies. The restaurant Bagheecha had surprise saved in their chicken curry. It was delightful. If you can handle spice go for it. Staff was friendly and co-operating.
The sports activity had various options, people who are not into diving and snorkeling can try submarine dive and excursion to Male.
Otherwise it's a place to relax and let your body bond with blue sky, bluer water and white sand, images of which will resonate for long after you checked out of your room.

Room Tip: Take the Beach rooms near to water villas, there the view is nice and vegitation green.

As we arrived at the airport in Malé, we did get a really nice and friendly welcome and went to the boat which took us to paradise island.
From start on, we did found the stuff friendly and helpful and they really made our stay special as they asked us many timesw if everything was ok.
Even if it was raining the stuff was still smiling and always seemed in a very good mood.

The food was very good and we really liked the buffet in the morning and in the evenings with the lovely created decoration made of melons.

As soon as we did get into the room, we did have a beach villa, we felt very cosy and liked it a lot. We did have a wonderful beach- few. They cleaned the room twice a day and they always put new waterbottles on the table.

I also liked the boat trip to the dolphins, as they seems to play with the boats and tried to take the mick. This was really special.

My boyfriend and me did a diving curse there and the diving teacher was realy good in getting me rid of my fear to start with, and I loved it in the end, so I do carry on with the diving now.

My favourite was the water-sports bar cause the barman really was nice and tried to complete every wish you asked him for. And there is a very lovely parrot near the water-sports bar. She was realy good fun and a lovely bird.
The people from the water sport were always there to asked them for help. We tried some watersports and all was very good fun.

The highlight of our holliday there was the beach - dinner directly next to the beach. The buffet was made really good and lovely prepared, and they even got us back to the villa with them little cars.

All in all it was a lovely holiday and I would love to go back soon, as this was the best holiday I ever had.

Now, i was the 10th time in Maldives and the first time in Paradise.
This island is cloth to Male but still my favourite comparing to other 4 or 5 star resorts i have visited before. Of course, Rangali and these very expensive hotels are better, but Paradise is still Paradising, compared with other hotels in maldives at a normal price range. Staying in a super deluxe beach bungelow directly at the beach with a nice white beach at blue water ocean or even staying in a water villa is both very great. First we have booked a super deluxe room, nice furniture, nice room, and for the last 3 days of our 14 nights stay we upgraded to a water villa, because an upgrade for little money was offered by the hotel.
Comparing the super deluxe room with water villa, the water villa is better, but the super deluxe room is also fine.
The food in the main restaurant was delishes, each day you had a different topic with different food. As well there were some more restaurants available for extra charge, such as Japanese and Italian. Sitting at itialian restaurant just for a nice ice-cream in the afternoon is also very nice and relaxing.
The Spa at Paradise is the best i have ever seen - and by the way - i am travaling a lot, also for busniess and i always stay at a hotel with a Spa - very nice staff, great treatments and the design just TOP.
All staff in Paradise is very courteous and polite, the bar men, room-boy, receiptionists, water-sports. etc.
And before i forget: the best place in the island is the water sports center, nice guys, nice background music, just perfect for a chill-out.
----

Room Tip: water villa or super deluxe beach bungelow.
