This is a lovely seaside B&B. The view is spectacular, and in our room we fell asleep to the sound of the waves. The shower had hot water and plenty of it. Breakfast is served by the owner in a dining room with a fantastic view of the sea. A local who was dining next to us leaned over and said "This is the best place in all of Ireland!" Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed in the apartments which had a gorgeous view of the beach. Slept with the windows open and listened to the ocean all night and day. The apartment had everything we needed and was nice and clean. The only thing is that the twin room and toilet reeked of cat urine so perhaps a cat has been coming in through the window or a guest brought one in, as it was worse in the window. Other than that it was very nice and quiet and no one bothered us. There is a little box in the living room where you insert a two euro coin for your electricity. It only took one coin per day for us. The unit contains a washer and dryer, refrigerator with freezer, iron and ironing board, TV in living room, tea kettle, microwave, stove, dishes, pots and pans, and bed linens with extra pillows. Although a couple of towels were provided I would recommend bringing your own, as well as your own toiletries. Plenty of free parking is provided, and there is a patio or balcony with chairs.

I stayed here for a week with my family recently. The apartments are over looking the ocean. The views are breath-taking. The beds are very comfortable. It was lovely, quiet and tranquil. Slept great throughout our stay. The owner is very pleasant and welcoming. He provided extra beds for my children with no extra costs. The apartments are very spacious and contains all your requirements. I found my holiday staying here very relaxing and Ballyheigue is a beautiful vilage. Its one of the best self catering apartment I have ever stayed in Co.Kerry.

Look no farther, if you are searching for a place to stay in Kerry : O'Neill's Bed and Breakfast is your " go to " destination. Either you are making a stop for a night in your Irish adventure or wanted a sea-side village to come for a vacation, the breathtaking vista from this B&B in Ballyheigue will enchant you. We were there for a 3 nights stay and can't wait to go back. It all starts upon your arrival with a wonderful " Welcome ". You will be greeted by Patrick or Donal ; Son and Father of this family run and owned business and right there you will feel at Home .... and away from Home. There is nothing like the friendly and warm feeling that they give you when they open their home to you . The house was recently updated to perfection , with beautiful wooden floor and clean white walls with beautiful paintings of native flowers and sights nearby. The foyer is decorated with 2 unique wood sculpture-table with fresh flowers and a wonderful sent of Vanilla is in the air making you feel that you arrived in a pure and sophisticated retreat. We were then taken to the dinning room where we will be served breakfast and the private guests sitting room .... and there ... you jaws drops !!! What an incredible view of the Bay surrounded by majestic mountains, you can step out onto the balcony and look at the miles long beach which is just a few steps away through a gate at the bottom of the garden we were informed and it looks so inviting , or you could easily stay right there in a comfortable sofa taking in this mesmerizing vista. We made our way down to our so romantic room #1. The window looking out to the sea is almost the entire size of the wall !!! And you can hear the gentle waves and smell the fresh air coming from the ocean : Superb . A beautiful and clean bathroom was en-suite which is rare in a B&B ( and actually all bedrooms have bathroom en suite , we found out ). As our host left us to take in all this beauty and settle down, we were asked the time we would love to have breakfast, wow, how wonderfully accommodating. And what a breakfast we had, we chose a delicious Full Irish Breakfast cooked by the order, and there is others choices available. The guests next to us were served a vegetarian option with beans. Now, that's 5 stars service. The beach is right there and the ocean's water is so pure, their is some beautiful walks you can take in nature, the small village as restaurants and pubs and shops for all your needs, your host will help you in anyway they can to guide you on what to see in Kerry, and you will sleep so confortably you will decide like we did : We are coming back . Thank you so much to Patrick and Donal O'Neill for our relax and pampered stay at O'Neill's Bed and Breakfast.

We were looking for a cliff top ocean view Bed and Breakfast in County Kerry, Ireland being big fans of the Post Ranch Inn in California with its stellar views of the pacific when we happened upon this gem in the idyllic seaside village of Ballyheigue. when we pulled up at this ranch style house nothing prepared us for the spectacular views that awaited us form the ocean side. Our Host, Patrick , showed us down stairs ( the house is actually a 3 floor building ) to our room with stunning views thru its large window of the beach below and out across the bay. Spacious and beachy, simple and modern, the room was perfect. Being obsessed with 5 star hotels, we were thoroughly enjoying the "Bed & Breakfast" experience and unique character of staying in real Irish Homes and meeting Irish families. Upstairs Patrick showed us the dining room with those same gorgeous views. This connected thru to a spacious guest lounge where the views extend back along a mesmerizing rugged coast line. Outside is a balcony where each night we sipped wine after returning from Dinner and enjoyed those crazy long Irish evenings with sunsets at 10 pm, the sky a flame on both nights, we sat there. The hypnotic sound of the waves rushing in below the balcony, with that vast view out over the bay and mountains beyond was magical. Breakfast in the morning cooked by prepared by Patrick was a delicious, served by an adorable young waitress, who made sure we lacked for nothing. We could have been window side on a cruise ship if it were not for the green grass of the lawn that separated us from the cliff top. As we ate, Patrick's charming Father Donal filled us in on local history and recommended must see points on our planned trip to Dingle that day as well as restaurants for Dinner that night. We stayed but 4 days in Ireland this trip at this one location and it was thoroughly memorable and magical .experience.

Room Tip: we stayed in Room 1.The room was quiet , away from the street.. and we slept with the windows open so we could hear the ocean.
