Description: Finin O'Sullivan's thriving bar and restaurant in the centre of Midleton town has long been a popular place for locals to meet for a drink and to eat some good wholesome food. The entrance is bright and cheery, painted in pillarbox red and white, and the theme is continued inside, where black topped tables are simply set up with the basics needed for a meal. This attractive, no-nonsense place offers a wide range of popular home-made dishes, mostly based on local produce notably fresh seafood from Ballycotton and harbour steaks, also old favourites like a well-made Irish Stew; evening menus are more extensive and include some more specialities including roast duckling. Good short wine list.

We stopped in here for a late lunch after touring the Old Middleton Distillery. The food was great, especially the chowder. The staff was very friendly and welcoming - all in all a great place!

Up scale bar food, they have an upstairs eating area along with the bar downstairs. Good food, let us share our meal.

Myself and my husband ate in Finin's on a recent Saturday night. The food and service were fantastic! I had baked stuffed mussels to start, followed by Fillet steak with a choice of garlic butter, pepper sauce or wine and mushroom sauce and homemade tiramisu to finish. My husband had homemade vegetable soup, followed by Fillet steak for main course and tiramisu for dessert. We ate in the bar and the staff were very attentive and pleasant. They have a wide range of drinks on offer, plenty choice for everyone! A couple of delicious coffees rounded off a very enjoyable evening.
