Location, Setting & photo opportunities - absolutely spectacular and possibly unmatched in Cork.

Wedding reception room and atmosphere - fantastic and buzzing.

Food and service throughout the meal - gorgeous. Fresh, tasty, wholesome homemade food.
Every course was as good as eachother.

The main course was Hake or beef with the beef steak being made to order. Every person was served their steak cooked perfectly as ordered. Very impressive!

The only drawback on the hotel is that the area for the reception on arrival is quite small and we felt squashed up so the place got very hot very quickly and we found ourselves wanting to escape outside for air but the weather was too bad.

Definitely a strong contender for wedding venue of the year in the area.

Thank you for your kind review. It is always our pleasure to be a part of wedding celebrations, a very special occasion for all!

Our reception area is in the original house, with Dunmore House charm and breathtaking views of the Wild Atlantic Way, most unique to our location!

We hope to welcome you back in the future.

Kind regards,
Carol Barrett.

The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and the breakfast was amazing, but the stand out was the staff and owners. Honestly can’t do enough for you. It was really foggy one night whilst we were there and we were unable to get a taxi to take us down the road to meet friends so the owner kindly offered... we were blown away by his kindness. Lovely family run hotel and I’d choose this over any big hotel chain any day.

Myself and my wife stayed for 3nights it is a lovely relaxing hotel even though there is a lot going on. The rooms were warm and cosy with lovely comfortable beds. The breakfast was wonderful, bar food was first class, there is a golf course attached to the hotel. A wonderful view from the hotel out to sea, there are two very nice beaches a very short drive away. The owners an the staff could not do enough for the people.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. A fabulous family run hotel that welcomes you with open arms. We came across this hotel by chance online and I am so glad we found it.
One thing that struck me in our three day visit is the attention the staff give to their guests, not in an overpowering way by any means but just the right amount! The staff are very proud of the service they offer and the hotel they maintain, a warm and welcome reception.
We brought our small dog with us on holiday for the first time and needless to say we were anxious how things would go. The staff were so kind to her, she settled in really well. By the time we were leaving they all knew Lola :-)
The hotel appears to get a lot of repeat guests and I can understand why, we will definitely be visiting again in the not too distant future.
Rooms are a decent size with all the necessary gadgets etc. Dinner in the restaurant was absolutely gorgeous and we woke up every morning really looking forward to the spread they put on for breakfast!
Highly recommend this hotel. A big thanks to all the staff they made us feel so welcome. You have a very special hotel!!

A lovely relaxing retreat, the food was superb, our room had a lovely sea view, our only gripe would be that the bar was very quite, it would be nice to have a piano bar.but overall a most pleasant stay.
