I visited this guesthouse with 2 of my friends on 11th September 2016. The bedrooms were immaculate, the food was lovely and the place was full of the most gorgeous pieces of furniture and ornaments. A delightful place to visit. We would all definitely recommend this guesthouse and would not hesitate to book again.

Room tip: This is a dog friendly guest house, situated approx. 1.5 miles out of town centre

Stayed here on a busy Saturday in Carrick on Shannon and honestly it was my only option as everything else was booked. It was a very reasonable €48 for B&B which is refreshing. I'm assured they keep those prices all year round.
On arrival the owner showed me to my room which wasn't ready but I was allowed store luggage there, I had a work thing until 5.30 so it didn't matter. When I came back I had a lovely welcoming room waiting for me. Shower was grand and bed was comfortable. TV was modern, coffee making facilities available and Wi-Fi was fine.
Breakfast following morning wasn't bad. It would have been nice if it was local produce and the bread was homemade but it was obviously supermarket bought and tbh for €48 who cares really?
The owners were pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed staying there.

Booked this as we were going on a stag in Carrick on Shannon and were looking for a cheaper option. Good location, easy to find. Not walking distance to the town but the lady of the house dropped us into town and the taxi home was 11 euros between 4 of us. The rooms were spacious and comfy although the shower was a tight enough squeeze. Breakfast was delicious and filling, at just under €40pp B&B it was a bargain.

Well maintained accommodation and decent breakfast. The initial enquiries and booking by telephone were not exactly of the thousand Irish welcomes though, sounded more like take it or leave it and don't really care if you do or dont. Would recommend to stay here but paid E79 and later realised was quoted E75. So nothing major but maybe friendliness could go up a notch or two.
