The Adare Manor is absolutely beautiful and elegant. The grounds are well kept and lovely. The rooms were spacious, with nice beds, and very large bathrooms. The staff was very accomodating and courteous. The manor is located near the town center with a great place to eat nearby, Aunty Lena's

I stayed with friends in March to celebrate my birthday. From the moment I picked up the phone to make the reservation I knew I had made a good choice! What I will remember most about my stay was the friendly, genuine, personal service I got right from that first call. I enquired about staying in the Manor but it was booked up so we were offered a town house with breakfast included complimentary. The townhouse was lovely, clean and comfortable. It is only a couple of minutes walk to the manor but we still had a car come to collect us to take us to the manor or wherever we wanted to go on the grounds.

My highlight was the 8 course taster dinner which was offered with the compliments of the manor as they asked us to change our original dinner booking from the Saturday night to the Friday night. This was more than generous given that the food was outstanding. It was without doubt the best food I have ever tasted with one course better than the next! Having read all the previous excellent reviews I realise that it was even better than it sounds! Words just don't do this food justice!

The manor is impressive and the grounds are stunning and beautifully kept. In general I thought that staying in the house was a very smart way to get 5 star service, 5 star food, 5 star facilities and 5 star attention to detail at excellent value. There was one minor mix up - when we returned late on Saturday night after dinner and drinks in town we asked the driver to take us to the manor for a drink. We were told by reception that the manor was booked by a private wedding party so the driver took us to the club house and we had a drink there instead. As it happens it was an error that it was a private wedding party but as soon as the hotel staff realised this they rang to apologise.

Room tip: You have to try to 8 course taster dinner!

The deluxe rooms in the addition are very spacious and have lovely views of the famous golf course.Young adults and teenagers also enjoy the manor house rooms, that might be smaller but have such wonderful charm and impressions of Ireland as it once was.

The room was very upscale, clean and comfy. The bathroom was awesome, large, had slippers and robes, a fireplace that didn't work, but gave the room charm. Downside was that you could hear people walking through the hallway. Breakfast was very tasty and filling. The gardens were nice even though we visited before the flowers were blooming.

I left a pair of Sunglasses in the room and called Monday to get them sent, received them Tuesday. Can you pass on my thanks to the accommodation Supervisor, I was delighted to get them back and that’s what I call service. Hotel is amazing, food and service fantastic, great to see that people still care about providing top service. The 2 English guys who work the night are characters too and very patient & courteous. Also Alexandra in the restaurant, she had to listen to 3 fellas for over 2 hours on Sunday morning for breakfast (5star) and still provided the best of service! Highly recommend the Adare Manor, just sorry I didn't get to spend more time there, I will definitely be back!!!
