We stayed here for one night during our tour of Ireland. The room was clean, although a little on the small side. We did find the ensuite very small also, but for one night it was fine. Irene was very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast adequate. The house is sited at the end of a cul-de-sac, with a couple of parking spaces, which if you have a large car, could cause a problem as there was not much room to park. Not alot to see in Bantry, the views from Bantry house (walk the grounds or walk up the 100 steps from the garden) are spectacular, not to be missed. There is a very good Indian Restaurant in Bantry which is excellent value for money.

Room Tip: If you don't have the ensuite the room may be bigger.

We stayed for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The house is at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and is very clean and pleasant and Irene and Gerry are extremely hospitable. Our room was excellent and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast menu offered a good, traditional selection of options and was very enjoyable.
Car parking is outside but with plenty of room and seemingly safe.
Bantry is a very pleasant town with some interesting history and it provides an excellent centre for some of the most beautiful and spectacular countryside and coastline in Europe. Whether you walk, cycle or drive, you will run out of time before you run out of places to go and sights to see. Don't miss Bantry House!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cnoc a' duin. Irene and Gerry are wonderful and extend true Irish hospitality. Their home, our room and even the bathroom are beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail. The breakfast is hearty, hot and delicious. The location is great for exploring Bantry, it's just a short walk into town. There are so many beautiful scenic drives and Irene and Gerry are there to give you tips and dining recommendations. We would definitely stay here again!

Just back from a terrific vacation in West Cork Ireland. What a place, picture postcard scenery. Stayed in this B&B for 3 nights. It is perfectly situated in the heart of west cork and is only short distance to spectacular views and wonderful walks. The family are very friendly and the price certainly won't hurt your pocket. Thoroughly recommended! Jack
