We married in Galway in August and needed a hotel close to the venue which our family and guests could stay at. From the moment we contacted the Lady Gregory hotel the service has been nothing but exceptional. Our contact throughout was a wonderful lady called Nuppu. We live abroad so we had to arrange everything by email before arriving in Galway for the wedding. Nuppu was always available to us and always reassuring that everything we required would be catered for. We had older guests in the wedding party and without even asking, Nuppu was already suggesting particular rooms to make their stay more comfortable. She is a wonderful, helpful person and a credit to the Lady Gregory hotel. Our guests only stayed one night at the lady Gregory but they all thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms were clean and spacious and the breakfast the following morning was plenty and delicious.
Thank you Nuppu and the team at the Lady Gregory for everything!!!!

Room was OK , Very dated. Was very disappointed as i had emailed the hotel to ask for a nice room because we were celebrating my boyfriends birthday but they gave us a room with a box TV and very old decor! Bath & shower in the room which was a plus! Food was good , breakfast poor but the carvery and bar food made up for that. Only about 30 mins from Galway City. Would possibly stay here again but hopefully in a more updated room!!

Room Tip: Room 250 is in the back of the hotel so you wont be disturbed by traffic

Check in was OK. A pleasant receptionist, professional if not wholly personable.

Room was fine, clean and tidy. I have to say that I was slightly disappointed with the bar attached to the hotel. Service was excellent, food was OK but I found the Guinness to be disappointing, as it was my first on my visit.

Breakfast was very good buffet style, and again excellent service from the serving staff; very chatty and friendly. Excellent poached eggs cooked to order.

It is not the cheapest place to stay, but the best in Gort. The worst thing about it was the WiFi, it was awful throughout the stay. There seem to be about half a dozen WiFi hotspots in the hotel, depending where you are, but none of them seemed to work properly, so rather frustrating

Stayed over night in lady gregory. And at entry I was very impressed with decor and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was basic and bathroom needed an update. It was very warm during the night, couldn't use air con or open window as it was to noisey.
We had a voucher for dinner and it was the best meal we had in a while. The food was presented very well and for an added touch the fish and chips came with newspaper.
The only downfall was the leisure centre, it needed an update. After using jauzzi I went to use the shower however, the shower wasn't great. There was insulation hanging on of walls. The pressure wasn't great.
However overall, the staff were friendly and helpful which made the stay better.
