We had fish chowder which couldn't have been better. Delicious crab gratin. Monkfish scampi, light and sweet with homemade tartare sauce. The turbot was fresh and light . Even the sticky toffee pudding exceeded expectations. Really beautiful food homemade quality ,wholesome. Superb.

Our brief visit to Kilee included dinner at Murphy Blacks. Great food and very friendly host. We enjoyed the early set menu soup, supreme of irish chicken, and veggies.

Cannot rate this restaurant high enough... we had the most amazing meal tonight. The lamb was melt in your mouth, lobster hotpot amazing and the goats cheese was fantastic... I can't believe I hadn't been there before. Definitely worth a visit

We dined here last night and it was one of the tastiest meals we have had in a long time, the bread was not long out of the oven and went well with the delicious deep fried mushrooms we had as our starter, they were very generous in size and the baby leaf salad with them was perfectly dressed with a tasty dressing. We had the lamb casserole and baked hake for our main courses and the sauce in the casserole was the tastiest I had, I would love to be able to recreate it. We only had room for a dessert between us and we had the sticky toffee pudding, it was yum. It is rare to find a place that ticks all the boxes but this one surely does, all three courses were perfect and you are greeted by the owner and the staff are lovely. A big well done.
