This bed and breakfast is quite a distance from town and Bunratty castle. As others have mentioned, the rooms are nicely furnished and clean. The owners were very welcoming and provided a nice breakfast and ideas for dinner.

We were surprised a check out to discover that the B&B only accepts cash. The owner explained, "Cash is king". Fortunately, we had enough on hand but this was somewhat a surprise and not included in our original information.

We stayed for one night before leaving out of Shannon the next day. Maura and Joe have a beautiful home. They are very helpful and accommodating. They even made a dinner reservation for us. The house and grounds are immaculate and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and diners all had private tables. I would recommend and stay again.

We flew from NY and arrived at the location before checking time. The host was very nice and we were able to enjoy the room right away. The bedroom was comfortable and clean. You can enjoy tea or coffee in the room. The place is quiet and you can rest without disturbance. Breakfast is excellent and you have many choices.
The host, Joe, was extremely helpful during our stay and gave us good advise for our vacation.
This is a nice place to stay.

I would highly recommend this lovely B & B. The location is excellent if you plan to tour the Bunratty castle. The breakfast offered was a choice of three entrées all of which sounded excellent. We had the "light breakfast" which consisted of homemade crepes, fruit, juice, coffee and I am sure I am forgetting something. One person in our group had the "full Irish" breakfast and if I recall correctly the plate was empty when it was removed from the table . The room although not huge was nicely appointed with especially nice crisp sheets, and in room coffee.
The proximity to the Shannon airport is also a bonus. I'm sure I will be returning to Ireland by way of the Shannon airport and I will definitely stay here again.
