I've stayed at the Glebe House twice, and I plan to return whenever I can. It's a beautiful building with large, comfortable rooms. The public spaces are very welcoming with comfortable furniture, beautiful views, and plenty of games to entertain yourself. Breakfast is excellent and included in the room price. The Glebe Country House is one of just a handful of Irish hotels that allow dogs, and my little guy was warmly welcomed there. I found that the staff was friendly and very helpful. It's a bit of a drive, but the place is peaceful, and the drive is lovely. The gardens were a pleasant surprise. You will love staying here.

Stayed in one of the upper rooms (called the blue room). Bedroom had lots of spiders and cobwebs, a lot of dust on surfaces , also damp smell from ensuite . Room nicely decorated but appeared to have not been dusted or cleaned properly.

Lots of variety on breakfast menu, lovely freshly cooked food. Staff friendly.
Overall this B & B served its purpose as over night stay, good food and friendly staff but more attention needs to be paid to cleaning of rooms.

My partner & I and our 2 little dogs stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. So quiet & peaceful.

Our room & bathroom were quiet roomy.Clean & Tidy. Staff are very friendly and attended to all your needs. Breakfast was great and were able to accommodate off menu requests. The homemade brown bread was beautiful, My Mum has abit of competition.

they have a secure area of the dogs to play in while you are having brekkie. Dogas are also allowed stay in room for not extra charge Kinsale is only 10min drive away.
