The lovely, clean, light dining room made a perfect setting for a group lunch. Whitebait - perfect & crisp, nice tartare, lemon dipped in poppy seeds (attractive); beef burger with cheddar & bacon, salad, chips - should have had the chunky ones chosen by others as the skinny were not really very nice. Portion sizes variable. Sea bass & pigeon - relatively small; burger, pheasant (or was it guinea fowl?), fish & chips, whitebait - generous. Apricot and honeycombe creme brulee - tiny & in a cup. Attractive menu, good service, would return to try other dishes. Nice tea, coffee in big cups.
Large car park.
