What a wonderful afternoon. Sat by a log fire, eating a wonderful roast beef Sunday lunch with a great pint of local ale. This was then followed by some lovely desserts and a game of cards with the family. Just great!

Very welcoming surroundings and the service was extremely friendly. The layout of the tables gave us space and privacy to enjoy the good food we were served. Will definitely make a return visit.
Love all the twinkling lights

The food was excellent as was the welcome. Take care with a larger motorhome. The entrance is do-able with care. Take your time.

Despite having a very easily upset Coeliac in our birthday group the staff were very helpful and happy to check on the contents of the menu options which were very pleasingly wide as gluten free items are used in many of the dishes or can be introduced to replace 'normal' items. Highly recommended and such a lovely place. Please keep up the standards and staffing quality. We'll be back again.

My wife, I, and our 2x two year olds turned up here without booking for a Sunday lunch. Luckily we got a table and had a delicious lunch. The menu choice was huge - the main menu, the specials menu, and the roasts were all available to chose from. I had the ribs, chips & coleslaw (very generous portion & delicious), my wife had fish & chips (also delicious) and the twins shared a kids meal. The staff were very friendly, kept the twins entertained by showing them the well (you can stand on the glass and look down into it, and a selection of toys. A very nice Sunday lunch was had by all.
