We were recommended this pub by the people at Doles Ash Farm and the four of us went there for dinner.
The staff are first class and the whole experience was a pleasure. We had a chicken burger, House Burger, Baked Cod and fish and chips, all the meals were of the highest standard.
Can’t recommend is enough.

We stopped here at the last minute while we were passing & so glad we did.
The pub is genuinely welcoming & staff that we met were all lovely. The pub has a nice separate restuarant side & a very comfortable bar with, on the day we were there, a large log fire. Parking is easy, the area is quiet, the food is fabulous (curried parsnip soup is out of this world) & the Palmers beer beautifully kept. The type of country pub we all remember & wish we lived near. Cracking.

Lovely country Inn, in a tiny place called Piddlehinton, Dorset. There is only the pub so, you can't miss it. Fairly traditional old style pub, lots of dark wood. Clearly, a very popular place and was busy when we arrived for our 6:30 family booking. Very welcoming proprietor and staff who provided efficient and friendly service throughout. Good varied menu with plenty of choice to suit everyone. My favourite was the blue vinny cheese and spinach risotto - such flavour, amazing!! The burger selection looked very inviting too and the presentation made them look simply mouth watering. Excellent desserts too.

As soon as we arrived we were met with a friendly welcome and shown to our table. A lovely authentic country pub ample parking very attentive staff. Excellent menu choice we were a party of 4 and all enjoyed our meals. Good wine selection dog friendly perfect. One very small issue we did have to wait for our meals but it didn't cause a problem as we were in no rush
