Marion Steven and our dog Freddy had a great time at blackthorn gate! Had lively walks round the farm and to roseberry topping !! Went into stokesley A few times it's a lovely town would been recommending to out friends!! Thank Rita and Mike!

We stayed in the 'Curlew' lodge, one of the 4 lodges available to rent at Blackthorne gate. The lodge is spacious with a large open plan living/dining/kitchen/reception area, en-suite double bedroon, a second bedroom with bunk-beds, a bathroom and sauna. There is also a drying room which is useful for storing shoes and any wet clothes. For those that need it there is a ramp up to the front door for ease of access.
The kitchen is very well stocked with utensils and as part of the package there are a small stock of essential supplies for your use in the lodge (tea, coffee, milk, etc)
The lodges are set in a working farm with views of Roseberry Topping from the living room window, and we spent many an afternoon walking about the farm, which our 2 year old daughter loved!
We will be returning to Blackthorne Gate as there is so much more to explore in the area and have already recommended it to friends for their future breaks.
