Salem House Bed & Breakfast
Ranked #1 of 3 Chacewater B&B and Inns
Reviewed 17 September 2011

Our stay here made our weekend break to chacewater for a wedding all the more special. As others have mentioned, cream tea on arrival, easy parking right by the refurbished room, and so nice to walk in to a room that obviously had so much thought put into it. Lisa was so welcoming and was the perfect host, not least during breakfast which was a treat in the dining room. Absolutely nothing to fault and if you are looking for somewhere to stay in this area can't imagine it could be bettered. Thanks so much Lisa.

Room Tip: Refurbished room has easy access.

The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Had everything you need, En-suite, tea / coffee, sky TV, iron on request. Breakfast was fantastic in lovely surroundings. Would definitely stay there again and would choose it over a hotel every time. You could not ask for a better hostess, Lisa thank you.

From the moment you arrive you realise that you have found an outstanding Bed and Breakfast with a personal touch.
I was luck Lisa agreed to put me up as I was only staying one night. (2 night minimum
usually) As others have said ,the Cream tea , Breakfast and Sky TV sets this place head and shoulders above others. Nothing too much trouble. Defintely stay again.
Made to feel like a true guest.
Easy access from car park so very suitable for less able
guests

Lovely rural location a few minutes from the village, and a few extra minutes from Truro. Was central for everywhere we wanted to go.

Very stylishly decorated ground floor room with en-suite bathroom, good size, nice 5ft bed which was very comfy. Nice warm welcome with a cream tea on arrival which we ate outside. Plenty of local information leaflets in the room, Sky TV with movies was a nice bonus too. Breakfasts were personalised to the time and content that you wanted, as well as a selection of cereals and fresh fruit every day, set in an equally stylish dining room.

Lovely host(s), nothing was too much trouble, made us feel very welcome.

Would definitely stay there if visiting the area again.
