I was starving by the time I arrived a Mons this afternoon, but had no idea where to eat. While at the lookout, I saw the signs leading to L'Auberge Provençal, so I went to check out the menu. There are several menu options, plus the menu du jour at 15 euros (entree, dessert). In addition, lots of salads, omelettes, etc.
Despite my attire (all leather) the manager of the restaurant was warm and welcoming. She sat me on the terrace, with it's panoramic views, not far from a large family all dressed to the nines. I ordered the cheese omelet, at 8 euros. It was delicious, copious,
and accompanied by a salad. It was the perfect meal.
