Owner description: Gaharu Tea Valley Gopeng (務邊沉香山茶園). HOGA had a quiet and unofficial inception in 1992. At present, the plantation located within the quaint little town of Gopeng, has 200,000 trees of a special Aquilaria spp (Gaharu Gopeng, Geographical Patent GI2013:00005) and other natural attractions that will leave you mesmerized. The Gaharu tree is listed as an endangered species by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Flora and Fauna known as CITES. It is not only organically cultivated here to further prevent its extinction but Gaharu Tea Valley Gopeng is the only plantation with 300 acres of the special hybrid Aquilaria spp trees. Due to its uniqueness, Gaharu Gopeng has been aptly coined as HOGA (Holistic Gaharu). It is indeed holistic in its quality as its benefits can be extracted from every part of the tree. Gaharu, commonly known as Agarwood and also called Eaglewood, Aloeswood, ChenXiang, (沉香), Jin-koh (沈香), or Oud (عود) in different countries, has many beneficial and healing properties. Simple tea plantation with friendly staff

More educational than anything. The van that took us around had audio system playing the introduction to various parts of the plantation and educational information about tea and plants. Staff were extremely friendly.

The place comprises 200,000 gaharu trees. Gaharu also known as agarwood is renowned for its medicinal qualities. We were captivated by the Lover Trees, an intertwining pair of centuries old trees, growing together and embracing each other like lovers, branches connected together and are inseparable. We also visited the health products outlet, HOGA and bought gaharu oil and instant tea. We also tucked into HOGA ice cream and tea eggs. Do not forget to take a photo with the Great Wall of Gopeng, which resembles the great wall of China and enjoy the great views .

I was at the Plantation last week it was an amazing and an organic educational experience. I must say that the tea at night defiantly contributes to me sleeping like a baby. I will definitely buy more .I am also buying the oil.
The air in the valley tastes fresh and clean and smells slightly aromatic.
The bird house is also a magical experience.
Overall fascinating Thank you
