Balluta Square is plaza in Balluta bay. There are two very good restaurats here, Eletro lobster and Scruples. Plus there is nice caffe place on the corner called Golos. You have bakery and pharmancy there as well.

Very busy in the evenings a little busy during early morning and early evening (rush hour) as it becomes a bottle neck for people trying to get to or from work. After peak time it is more relaxing but still a main route for traffic so you have to be careful when crossing the road.

Lots of hotels, shops and a supermarket off the beaten track and nice beach to swim from. Will upload photos later.

This place is really great for chilling out. Boasts of a couple of restaurants if one wants to eat out, or if one is after a light snack or an ice cream can but from the "gabbana" which has been part of this place for years,

the views and eating places here are OK, but if you are looking for something great there are better places on Malta. there is quite a bit of traffic in the area, both vehicular and pedestrian.

My wife and I walked the whole length of Saint Julian's promenade one evening, taking in Spinola Bay and Balluta Bay en route.
We passed Balluta Square but from the other side of the road, and to be honest found the views looking out to Balluta Bay more interesting, but not as nice as the views from Spinola Bay.
Saint Julian's is a lively resort, be it day or evening, and is okay if this sort of thing appeals. For us, it was nice to visit and see, but not a part of Malta we would book a hotel at.
