“A favourite meeting point and good place to hang out”
Review of Balluta Square

Balluta Square

Surrounded by food outlets with tables and chairs outside, this place is a good spot to relax and meet with friends. Public benches are available. A sandy beach is just across the road along the promenade between St Julains and Sliema.

This square is lovely because it is a great way to watch the world go by sitting at a bar and restaurant with the lovely art deco buildings in the background and the sea in front of you. It is usually busy with people eating outside however there is ample space to just linger in the sun on one of the benches. It is not super safe for kids, so one still has to supervise young kids.

This is such a very nice square, it is located on one of the busiest streets of Saint Julian's, it has a lot of restaurants and shops, it is an ideal place for locals and tourists alike.

Balluta Square is a lovely little area with seating and a kiosk/cafe selling drinks and snacks (and with a large glass of wine at €1.50 and a beer at €1.80 it is a bargain). We have a BnB just up the road from the square and it is lovely place to sit in the shade of the trees with a warm drink watching the world go by. It is directly across the road from the bay itself so it's convenient if you're on your way back from a swim (and the bay and the boats are a nice view too.)

Balluta Square is the ideal place for pensioners and tourists alike. It is located on one of the busiest roads of St Julians. The coffee shops make it attractive for a quick snack, the benches are situated around the square, some of them get shade from the trees.
