We were here for a Christening party and the staff and food were excellent. The beef and pork were cooked to perfection.

We had around 30 people here and the service was superb. The food was brought quickly, with a smile and was piping hot.

The toilets are either downstairs for men or up for the ladies. Both are fairly easy climbed, even with some members we saw with limited mobility.

A gorgeous old estate but with a party of over 100 the quantity of food was shocking, the service was poor and the bar prices were far too high.

Beautiful setting and great staff. However, to maintain a trade / reputation you need to produce consistently good food. The dry fish cake, lack lustre beef and dry brownie were more a kin to school dinners. There are lots of fab eateries out there - life is too short for mediocre food.

We are been many times to Grafton Manor over the years, but haven't been for about 3 years.
The ladies toilets are upstairs, which is a problem ladies who have disabilities.
We booked for 7.00pm and were shown to our table. There was no-one else in the restaurant!
The choice of menu has been reduced since our last visit with only 4 main courses plus one vegetarian choice available. What was available didn't really suit our liking.
The service was efficient and the cooking was good, but because we struggled to find a main course to our liking and the lack of atmosphere we cut our losses after two courses and left at 7.55pm. There was still no-one else dining when we left.
It is a beautiful manor and setting and caters a lot for weddings/parties etc, but the restaurant seems to have been lost out with the effort being directed to the parties.

This was my first visit to Grafton Manor and it is very impressive on arrival. A beautiful building which looks amazing when lit up at night.

I was attending an evening meeting, so quite a number of us arrived early to eat beforehand. Service was fine and the staff were pleasant and efficient. I chose the chicken liver parfait and asked for it to be served without the raisins soaked in Calvados and with white toast. It arrived with plenty of white toast but, unfortunately, the raisins were on the plate so I just left them on the side. No butter, but a good sized serving of the parfait and I shared a portion of chips with a colleague. The chips were served hot and were very tasty, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The parfait was a little lacking in flavour, but otherwise was ok.

The marquee, where our meeting was held was a bit noisy, which made it a little difficult to hear the presenter some of the time. It would be adequate for a wedding, where more people speaking at the same time would drown out the traffic(?), wind(?) outside. It has seen better days and a new, rigid marquee would probably be more fitting for the beautiful manor.

Nothing awful at all, far from it, but best to say overall it "could do better".
