Stayed overnight at the hotel, great place, the nostalgia of being in the courtyard of a 15th century castle is very overwhelming. Overall the location is good and the room with the balcony is quite nice.
The problem is that the staff could be more friendly and accommodating, being vegetarian there was almost nothing to eat on the buffet dinner except for an asparagus/potato baked. The chef did not want to make the effort to make something vegetarian for us and the staff insisted on our joining the buffet which I did not understand as you want to pay for eating not looking.
Eventually had to go back to the town to get to eat something, this should not happen at such a hotel. Also sometimes it is difficult to understand few things, the hotel puts the breakfast spread in one room and then to eat it you have to cross the hallway go through another room and then look for space to sit, so probably if you missed the jam, go without it or make the effort.More
