We stayed just one night at the Leonardo Da Vinci, overlooking Lago di Garda. For just 80 euros (a late Trivago.com deal) the price was fully inclusive of breakfast, lunch, dinner and all your drinks, we weren't expecting too much.
We needn't have worried.
We were made very welcome at reception and the fully inclusive package was explained and we even had lunch included even though we arrived early. The receptionist helpfully suggested that we leave our bag behind the desk whilst we went into the dining room. Despite what other reviewers have written we found all the staff very friendly and helpful.
The room was ready ahead of schedule and after parking our car found our room. It was large and spacious as was the bathroom, with a decent sized balcony with great lake views.
We think that every room has a lake view. The room is perhaps a little dated but was all very clean with a very comfortable bed. Very quiet as well and there are notices requesting guests to respect the peace and their neighbours.
The pool is large, very clean and warm with lots of sunbeds and parasols.
Everywhere - the corridors, public areas, the pool, gardens and car parking areas wre all immaculately kept.
After dinner we went down to Limone sul Garda, just a short 5 minute driive away and it was absolutely beautiful, and is well worth a visit.

We had a very good night's sleep and made early morning tea in our room.
Good shower, plenty of hot water.
This a a really good, really good value family holiday hotel.
The dining is self service canteen style and a bit of a bun fight and not somewahre to linger over a romantic dinner, but the food was tasty with lots of healthy salad options. No complaints at the price we paid. We didn't take up the offer of unlimited wine or beer but it really is all inclusive and you can go back as many times as you like for more drinks or food.
When we left we were charged excatly 80 euros.
Would we go again, yes!More
