everytime we think it cannot be better and every time de Uitkijk proves us wrong. Fantastic , very good food, nice helpfull people, extreme quite and nice ambiance in other words... donot tell too many people because it might get overbooked.

As far as we are concerned, a small fridge in the room would be nice.
De Uitkijk is located in a beautiful area. Be sure to read the information folder that is in the room. There are a number of nice tips regarding activities in the area.

Staff of hotel and restaurant are going above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The bib gourmand kitchen is great. Do not stay here without booking a lunch or dinner reservation too! Love the peace and quiet of this destination. Walking or biking right from the hotel. Some room fixtures could use a bit of tlc, but that is minor. The interior decoration of the hotel living room and restaurant is very 'warm' and classy, cosy too.

Simply excellent - staff, rooms, facilities, and food! Could not ask for a better option! The staff had my room ready and even provided laundry service that I desperately needed after hiking for a few days.
The restaurant was 5-star on every respect. Food was amazing, as well as the wine selection and the delightful staff.

We enjoyed the great location. The hotel is located in the woods that are part of the beautiful 'Sallandse Heuvelrug'. Great for hikers and cyclists. Wonderful staff. Very good (Michelin) restaurant. Rooms are very comfortable.
