Very friendly. Excellent food but didn't go overboard on the popular fish stew. Reasonably priced. Went back so can't be too bad!

Got there early to beat the queues ... justifiably the busiest restaurant in seisimbra. Basic & rustic ... just good food at amazing value
Highly recommended. Staff very efficient. Food fantastic. Well priced for the quality of food. The seafood rice for two us big enough for four people. Loved it
In a town where the grilled fish is king, one finds in this restaurant different ways of serving fish. An atlantic goliath grouper (jewfish) with apple puree and sweet potato was surprisingly different from what would be expected and was quite tasty. On the other hand, the swordfish steak was served in an immaculate onion sauce. More traditional dishes are also available: seafood rice, small cuttlefish or fish stew with potatoes (“caldeirada”). Portions are not generous.
The famous cucumber and ginger sangria is a must in this place!
Finally, one cannot miss the desserts that worth a try.
It is a shame that the room is so small, that tables are so close that one can easily share his/her dish with the neighbor next to you…
No menus, you are just shown what fish is available and asked to pick, Advisable to book, we did, people were queuing when we came out.
