lovely place to stay with great facilities.

On our arrival we were greeted with a warm and friendly team. Our apartment was so spacious and had everything you could ever need, making our stay very comfortable.

Our apartment was cleaned everyday to perfection.

The outdoor and indoor pools and spa wereimmaculate, constantly being cleaned and tidied throughout the day.
The little extras around the pool were a wonderful touch, such as: fresh fruit kebabs and fresh face cloths to help cool and refresh you.

Our flight home wasn't until early evening. We were able to have our luggage stored and could use the facilities including hot showers with fresh towels without us even asking.

Nothing was too much trouble for this Hotel.

I have nothing negative to say. So if your wondering whether to stay here, don't hesitate just book it.

The Four Seasons is a very nice hotel, with beautiful pools (separate adult and child pools), very well kept gardens, and very clean and spacious rooms. We had a 1 bedroom apartment, which had a large separate bedroom, large bathroom with spa bath, and a huge open plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and lounge with a large sofa bed. Another bonus was that the TV had an amazing selection of channels, including Sky and BT Sports, and many other English TV channels. Our balcony was also a good size and being on the 6th floor, overlooked the pool and across to the ocean. The staff were very nice, especially at reception, the pool side bar lady, and the young security guard on the front gate.
Every Monday, they invite guests to a complimentary drinks party for an hour. The first week this was in the bar, and the second week it was up on the roof terrace, over looking the pool. This is a very nice touch.
Although the hotel is approx a 20 minute walk to the Marina at Vilamoura and the beach, it is just around the corner from the 'Old Town' of Vilamoura which has a supermarket, lovely bakery, pubs, and a few nice restaurants (e.g. Le Rendevous). None of these are authentic Portugese however, and although immaculately kept, the whole area feels quite touristy. Vilamoura Marina is also extremely touristy, but we found a nice restaurant (Akavit) which has a lovely and quiet seating area right on the Marina and serves good Scandi themed cuisine.
Willie's restaurant is just a 10 min walk from the hotel and this is a superb Michelin Star restaurant, and we would definitely recommend going here. There is also a small restaurant/cafe next to Willie's (Cafe Del Arte) which we'd also recommend. Although the food isn't of Michelin Star standard, like Willie's, it was still nice, and has a very pretty outside eating area and a gallery inside, and the host is extremely friendly and welcoming. They also have a special BBQ night on a Wednesday during peak season.
We would definitely recommend the restaurant Oliveira Dourada, which is less than a 10 min cab journey from the hotel. The restaurant is run by a lovely husband and wife and we had a fantastic meal in beautiful outdoor surroundings. You must visit here!!
Considering the standard of the hotel, we were surprised to find that you had to pay 20 Euros a week to have Wifi in your room and by the pool, and that you also had to pay for clean pool-side towels every day. We also thought that it was very poor that salt and pepper, or tea/coffee/sugar, and washing up liquid were not provided in the apartments. Although it didn't bother us, as the apartment is so clean and spacious, the decor is a bit dated, and some of the appliances aren't that modern, for example, the dishwasher (which felt very unsturdy) and spa bath. The shower head also lent to the left, so it was a bit hard to have a proper shower.

We were all very excited to go on our first trip as an extended family myself, sister & my 2 children 14 & 16 to Vilamoura in Portugal.
The Four Seasons came well recommended on here. We landed and got through quite quickly, the car hire through Easy Jet was smooth & welcoming.
We arrived late to the resort but were warmly welcomed, they even gave us some food as we'd not been able to stop enroute. Thank You!
The apartment was spacious and clean, we had a comfortable first night and a great breakfast that we'd added and was very welcome. The weather was slightly chilly in the mornings but warm for the time of year so, we chose to sit inside for the first few days but it quickly warmed up so breakfast alfresco was the way to go.
There were 2 bedrooms the master had a HUGE bed, I wish this could have been split so that I could of shared a room with my sister instead I shared with my daughter & my son had the sofa. All the appliances were top notch and the tumble dryer was very good.
We had a huge balcony as we were on the ground floor and good access to the underground car park.
The staff were always friendly and attentive. My son is a singer songwriter he played a couple of times and was well received.
Pools, yes more than 1! The water was quite bracing but much warmer in the afternoon. In fact we hit a heatwave! Not forgetting the indoor pool.
From here it is easy to get about, the satnav really helps with the back roads and getting places. I normally travel about but this time due to GCSE study we did not go far. We did a great boat trip to see the Jurassic Coastline in & out of caves. Sadly no Whales or Dolphins that day.
Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Four Seasons. You were all very kind & helpful. Brigit is amazing
Four Seasons is set right next to the golf course with some rooms facing the course & out to the sea in the distance. We had the ground floor flat next to the indoor pool, it had a massive balcony. As we were hotel guests rather than timeshare all was included. They hold different food nights should you wish to eat in.

Great all round holiday we will be back next year! Thank you

Stayed here with my wife on a cheeky trip away with my wife. Loved it. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the place was very well looked after. The room was clean and well maintained. The pools were great and there was always a sunbed. I'd recommend the breakfast as it was an eat all you can buffet. There is a supermarket a 5 minute walk away from the place and there is a fully stocked kitchen in the apartment so you don't have to eat out every night. The place is right in the middle of the pinhall course and not far from the old course so easy to get out if you fancy a game.

Our daughters bought us a week here for our 25th wedding anniversary to be the honeymoon we never had. It was a lovely break and the Four Seasons cannot be faulted for its cleanliness - they even had a guy in a scuba suit mending the mosaics underwater in the swimming pool. The only reason I awarded this Very Good instead of Excellent is that the quality of the restaurant food/service did not match the prices being charged. We came to appreciate that new staff were being trained (in time for the Summer rush maybe?) but we felt that we suffered somewhat for this. The Manager, the majority of the bar staff and the cleaning staff were superb. Our Studio Apartment was very spacious and well-appointed and was cleaned to an exceptional standard every day, and given the way the complex is designed I doubt any accommodation is very far from the pools or restaurants. Indoor pool and jacuzzi were wonderful (especially when it rained!), and the pool bar was very welcome! Plenty of restaurants, bars and a mini supermarket are within 5 minutes of the hotel in the "Old Village" complex - well worth a stroll through. A shout out to Martin at the Buccaneer :-). We will definitely be going back.
