Situated in the main shopping street of Blankenberge, but still it is a quiet location. Not far from the rail station is an extra bonus.
The room wasn't the most modern, but it was OK. Breakfast has enough thing to choose from. The service was very good.
Stayed there in 1988 and almost 30 years later it is still a very good hotel.

We just stayed in one of their apartment type hotel rooms over this last weekend. We were 6 people and fit ok. But only because 3 were kids. If you are 6 fully grown people, you might need to get an extra bed or bring an inflatable mattress.

The apartment was pretty nice. All the beds were comfortable, it was clean and they had good TV channels.
There is a small kitchen and dining area in the apartment. Including a stove, microwave, a small fridge and a dish washer. Plenty of plates, bowls, glasses and silverware too.

The hotel is downtown Blankenberge and maybe a 5 minute walk away from the beach. There is parking available by the hotel BUT you have to reserve it and it costs 15€ per night. You will pay a 20€ deposit on the garage key, unless you don't move your car until you leave again.

Now, breakfast is pretty good and there is a parrot in the lobby. It really entertained people.
My main dislike: WiFi
Why? No signal in the rooms, ONLY the lobby.

I would go back if we ever make it up therr again. Everybody was nice and the location is great. The hotel is owned by a family.

The location was central, close to beach and rail station, room clean and comfortable with everything you needed.
Breakfast was amazing, huge choice of food, all very fresh. The piano playing at breakfast was a lovely touch.

Stayed for 2 nights at this family run hotel, along with friends. The room was comfortable, clean and white towels which were changed on a daily basis. The breakfast was extremely plentiful with eggs cooked to your liking, cold meats, cheeses, fruit, yogurts, selection of breads and pastries and Cava. Coffee or tea served in pots directly to your table. There is a pianist who plays on Sunday morning during breakfast.

Stayed: September 2016
