Easily the best self catering accomodation that we have ever stayed in. A superb location with excellent walking from the door. Everthing we could have wanted in the cabin including a bottle of wine and home baking on arrival. Even golf clubs in the shed. Fantastic bathroom and superb sauna to relax in after a good days walking. Harris is the most beautiful place with beaches to rival anywhere in the world. The wildlife was plentful, being able to watch two buzzards from the bedroom window of our cabin.
Excellent meals at the Anchorage, Leverburgh and the seafood takaway was a very pleasant and delicious surprise.
Well worth the effort to get there.
Rebecca & Stephen were excellent hosts and we will definitely be returning soon.

“Book a holiday here!”
Reviewed 25 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Just returned from a week's stay in Rebecca and Stephen's lovely cabin. This was our first visit to Harris and it won't be our last. The cabin is spotless and beautifully presented. The bathroom in cabin 2 is great - with a jacuzzi bath to relax in. Rebecca and Stephen add all the extra touches which make your stay memorable - fresh eggs, home baking, wine and even a Harris Tweed demonstration! Rodel is a good base and we enjoyed our walk down to the harbour and church. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

“Perfect break”
Reviewed 7 July 2014 for a stay in June 2014

This is the second time we have stayed in the cabins. We have stayed in both cabins and found them to be very welcoming and cosy. Great facilities are provided and Rebecca and Steven are fantastic hosts - in the background but around when you need them. Steven even treated us to a go on his loom where we weaved some authentic Harris tweed.
Harris and Rodel in particular are great locations. We are hoping to make this annual trip and look forward to more happy times with all the family.

“Fab week, would love to go back.”

Lovely welcome with a complimentary bottle of wine and some home baking. Rebecca is a fantastic host and nothing is too much trouble. The cabins are gorgeous and much bigger inside than expected-jacuzzi and sauna are great luxury extras when the weather isn't so good. Harris isn't the easiest of places to get to but well worth the journey. The beaches are like nowhere else and you could spend most of your day on them if you wanted to. We can't wait to go back sometime. Thanks again to Rebecca and Stephen :-)

“Clean, comfortable, a home from home with everything you could need....and more!”
Reviewed 2 June 2014 for a stay in May 2014

The cabin was spotless and well equipped to make your stay enjoyable. There was even a picnic basket in the cupboard and golf clubs in the shed. The sauna was fantastic too. Loved the fresh eggs, home baking and wine left for us. The peace and tranquillity make for a total chill out holiday where the only sound outside is the cuckoo and the sheep. Watch out for lambs when you're cycling downhill at speed as they can throw themselves in front of you without warning. Rodel hotel does nice food, as does the Anchorage in Leverborough. A fantastic holiday, well worth the distance travelled to get there.
