“Great food and wine”

Casa Porciatti - Enoteca & Wine Bar
Certificate of Excellence
Description: In a charming local of the 1300s, there is the wine shop & wine bar of Casa Porciatti. Comfortably seated at the tables of the wine bar you can choose to accompany your wine with a platter of cured meats of our production, Tuscan cheeses and bruschetta, or taste the traditional Chianti dishes, prepared with care by our kitchen: pici with Ragu Chiantigiano, Pici “alle briciole” (fresh pasta with bread crumbs), Black Truffle Ravioli, Ribollita, Florentine Tripe, stewed Boar, Peposo, Stracotto with Chianti, Ossobuco alla senese and Porchetta. Riccardo, a passionate Sommelier, welcomes his guests with the best of Tuscan enology: more than 400 labels between Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino, Nobile di Montepulciano, Supertuscans, and a reasoned selection of wines from the most important Italian regions such as Barolo and Amarone della Valpolicella. Every day you can choose between 20 – 25 different wines to taste (25ml) or by glass (125ml) thanks to the Coravin system

We stopped in at lunch time to try some local wine - we each got a flight of reds, we shared some mushroom/truffle bruschetta, and each had a plate of pici pasta (one ragu, one with cheese and pepper) both were absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and patient with our poor Italian. We loved this place and may even visit again tomorrow.

This wine bar is located off the Main Street in Radda and down some stone steps, very nice setting. It is family owned and you can taste a flight of 6 wines, reds, whites or sparkling or you can taste one wine at a time. We had flights of the reds and they were excellent. While tasting, we ordered mixed bruschetta which was delicious, then later ordered pastas. Everything was very reasonably priced, fresh and delicious. The owner who brought the wines was very helpful in helping us choose, and the food exceeded what I expected! We really enjoyed our visit.

We were so thrilled to stumble across this gem that we went out of our way to visit it the next day also
It's a lovely family owned and run business. The service is warm and genuine, and the food is exceptional. We had truffle ravioli, two different soups and dolce. Well worth the visit, the store has a great selection of wines and local fares such as olive oil, truffles etc
Adored it! Must see if you're in the area or close enough to get to it

We had lunch here and Riccardo & Francesco were very welcoming. The pasta was delicious and fresh. You were able to try various wines from the area, with expert advice. We Can highly recommend this if you are visiting Radha in Chianti.

We were visiting Radda and decided to try this restaurant for lunch. We had not previously read any reviews, we just loved the setting of the restaurant. I ordered the Ravioli with truffles. It was delicious, the best pasta I had during my two week vacation. The server was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and the wine. It was a great experience.
