We stopped here by chance: late arrival to Gourdon after beautiful hike through the Gorges du Loup area. The city was empty and calm and the restaurant was probably the only one opened at the late hour.
The service was super friendly. It looked like a family establishment as our waiters toddler daughter lived across the street and kept coming over to play with her kitten.
The food was very good, inventive and on a gourmet side. Substitutes were allowed. Despite limited English, we had no problem understanding each other.
As it got very cold later in the evening, the hostess brought us warm blankets as we were seating outside.
Overall - this is a hidden gem with a good quality food and lovely atmosphere.
