We were looking for somewhere to have a family get together with grown up kids from all over the country. The lads wanted to be near Buxton for the brewery! The rest of us wanted the countryside and a nice place to relax. We all got what we wanted with the bonus of a really attentive owner who even picked the kids up from the station due to a snowstorm! A great kitchen for 9 hungry souls and good local pubs. We also found a taxi firm (Al's) who could take us all in and out of Buxton for £20 each way! A brilliant 3 days, thanks Terry.

We are a group of 4 mums with 7 children in total & we had a fantastic 5 day stay at forge cottage. Terry is a great host & went above & beyond to make us welcome.
Thank you very much. We look forward to returning in the future.

Went for a board games weekend for 9 adults and it had everything we needed; great big table to play on, table in kitchen, lots of space, comfortable bedroom. The host was amazing, really really helpful.
Would definitely go again!

Fantastic stay- rooms were all big and comfortable slept us 11. The communal areas were great and we had a very fun long weekend!

Had a lovely stay, Nice clean accommodation, spacious rooms, lots of nice bedrooms . Large kitchen, everything you could want. .Friendly helpful owner Terri. Little spa type shop just across the road .House is in a nice secluded quiet lane. Nearest pub with food is about a ten minute walk. Highly recommended.
