The R-1 bus took us right to Puerto Juarez, which it doesn’t always do, so that worked well. Then we took a short cab ride to the site. Admission is 55 Pesos.
A fairly large place with a lot of structures and quite a large pyramid. There are lots of trees and, of course, lots of Iguanas - they blend in with the stone very well so be sure to look for them everywhere
This is not a widely known site I don’t think and it is exceptional because it is so close to Cancun, easily accessible and a good example of the Mayan culture minus a lot of travel time and expense. Worth a visit to this area of local culture around Puerto Juarez.
