Spent 4 nights at this site. Very clean and friendly. Pool very good toilets very clean. Pitches are extremely large by the lake. Grandchildren enjoyed swimming in the lake and pool. Would stay there again.

What can I say? This is a family camp site run by a young family. The site is fantastic, clean and nothing is too much to make your stay as good as it can be. All the staff are friendly and even the Owners walk around the site to chat to clients and make sure everythign is as it should be. The lake is ideal for Kayaking and is safe for swimming to. The pool complex is clean and ideal for all age groups. Theres entertainment most nights and the resteraunt is reasonably priced. There is a village just a short 15 minute walk from the site with a small supermarket and the big hyper markets of Bergerac are a short 20 minute car journey away. We will most defiantely return to this fantastic site.

Room tip: Advisible to have a car

This was our first family camping holiday and what a fab experience it was. The site itself is picture perfect, with the lake, sunsets, swimming pool etc... We travelled with our 2 year old and 8 year old, both of which loved it. The accommodation was modern and clean, in the bedrooms we were supplied with a a large duvet each and pillows, we paid a supplement for towels and sheets, everything else u need is there (apart from an oven) we improvised with our meals and made some beautiful dishes. The evening we arrived there was a local vineyard visiting to do a taste tester on there wine. This was on a Wednesday, the following evening there was a different one, great was to taste local wines.

The family who own the site r so welcoming and have really used the layout of the area to appeal to families with having a beautiful young family themselves, I felt our kids were very safe and thought about here. The area of pomport is surrounded by the most beautiful chateaus. With some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever saw. The closest large supermarket is in Bergerac a nearby town about a 10minute drive away, a car for transport is definitely a must. There is a village close by with a smaller shop and bakery etc ...it's quiet and quirky.

A few cons because we were there end of season, a lot of the facilities were closed ie kids club and entertainment, and the bar/restaurant was out of certain things on the menu. The same with surrounding areas is waterpark etc closed at end of August. We still enjoyed the peace and quiet with most days having the pool and slides to ourselves.
Overall we would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning. Thanks for the memories pomport.

Pleasant site with good pool and lake. Good for families but wouldn't go as a couple if in school holidays. Not much shade or privacy, it is a fairly new site so trees and bushes between pitches will take a few years to grow. Nice atmosphere though. I have marked it down for 2 reasons, there are not enough showers and the queues were awful. As with most French sites there is a lack of space in the showers and loos with no seats. The other big minus about this site is the restaurant food which we thought was appalling and expensive too. The site is a fair way from the village so had to self cater mostly. There is a really good food festival on Friday evenings during July and August in Sigoules, just about walkable but bikes are useful. Good supermarket in the village too, no shop at site, though you can order fresh bread daily. One more thing, there's not enough loungers round the pool and a lot of reserving of loungers with towels going on which just wasn't fair, maybe the site could put up some signs to discourage people from doing this.
