We had a lovely vacation at Ramsgate 2. Photos are accurate! This is a tastefully decorated condo with all new furniture/appliances/decor. Bedroom is cozy and comfortable. Kitchen is well appointed (although beware: the fridge is tiny--it is a deep drawer that holds a lot but only by stacking it to the brim--no shelves to put cups, etc.). We regretted bringing a week's worth of groceries--fridge holds maybe three days comfortably. There is a small freezer with ice maker/ice in half the bottom drawer of the fridge unit. The kitchen was easy to cook in (we alerted the rental company of kitchen tools that were missing and they intend to add them such as blender, grater, can opener). Rental company aims to please, so communicate your needs. When we go to the beach our main goal is to find uncrowded beach space. Even during one of the busiest weeks of the high season, our beach was often empty. The condos also sit up high on a bluff so at the top of the stairs there is a lovely view. Beach is clean; water is a lovely color and clear. Stairs down to the beach are very steep (and not lit at night) so people with mobility issues should beware (some loose boards too). We were worried the location of this condo in front of the stairs would be annoying--it did not bother us. This condo is located near multiple dune lakes and state parks and in an area much less crowded than Rosemary, Seaside, etc. Near this set of nine condos you'll mostly find single homes--no high rises! To sum up, pros: beach front location on uncrowded beach with direct access to the beach out the sliding screen door; quiet; beautifully decorated beach condo; easy and ample parking. Cons: size of refrigerator (adaptable if you know in advance), even though this condo is non-smoking there are folks smoking on the balconies of other condos at times; no grill. Despite these cons we loved staying there and hope to visit again! Beautiful space in beautiful place. Loved it.
