We had a great stay at Nilaveli beach resort in June which was there quite period do we had the pool to ourselves most of the time. One of the things that really stood out for us was the food. We were on a full board basis which was the most convenient for our family with a toddler and the food at the main restaurant was brilliant with table service for breakfast, lunch and dinner and always very fresh food. We stayed in a standard room and the room was a bit dated but clean. Staff were very friendly and went out of the way to help especially at the restaurant and reception.
Overall we had a great time and will be going back at some point.

We stayed 2 nights at the Hotel and we just loved it! The rooms, are very clean and the beds comfortable. The staff is so wonderful friendly and helpful. One evening there was an open air buffet with local Music - it was really nice! The way how thef Food is presented there is amazing!
The beach is only a one minute walk and the pool is there as well! I can highly recommand this Hotel to everyone who wants to stay at Nilaveli!!!

A beach paradise with a great ocean to swim or dive. Recommend going out to Pigeon Island by boat and trying some snorkeling. The hotel staff are extremely caring and hospitable. If you are looking for a peaceful beach getaway with excellent service this is the place to go.

Room Tip: Go with a room facing the beach.

This hotel is recovering from isolation due to some political upheaval in the country. The good times appear to be back as the hotel in beaming with activity and the staff are doing everything to make the hotel a success again.
Beautiful beach is adjacent and reputed to be the best unspoilt beach in Sri Lanka.
We had an invasion of monkeys running around on the roof of our rooms one morning to add to the excitement.
The food is good and varied. The TV room had a giant LCD TV with good picture and content which is are in hotels in Sri Lanka.
The hotel is surrounded by a vast area of red sand with a lot of trees for shade and several hammocks are there to relax in.
