Half of our family reunion group stayed in this cabin and the other half stayed in the nearby Foxhollow cabin. We were led to believe when we rented it that there would be a cleared foot path through the forest from one cabin to the other, but there was NO path unless one wanted to encounter a deep gully, poison ivy, chiggers, and ticks. Thus, we chose to drive between the cabins, but it did impact having our whole family together, especially in the evening. Nevertheless, the inside of this cabin was almost like being at home....lots of delightful décor, good lighting, and pleasant surroundings. The bed mattresses were wonderfully comfortable! The owners, however, were skimpy on giving us scratchy toilet paper and paper towels, so we bought our own; however, for the cabin price charged, the owners should have provided better quality. Also, we needed an extra set of sheets one night (someone got sick), and there was none (since the one extra set was used on the pull-out bed). There are 3 queen beds, one twin (top bunk) and one full (bottom bunk), so this cabin really sleeps only 8 comfortably though it is listed for 10 (that includes the pull-out which when we pulled it out, it had mouse droppings on the mattress!!). The yard was great for our youngsters' playing outside one day, but after that it rained so much that we did not get to enjoy the outdoor hot tub and fire ring on the other two days. But we did enjoy the two huge porches, pool table, puzzles, and games that were at the cabin.
