Family of 4 adults went for lunch with a voucher from Hyperli. Have been a few times before too with and without vouchers. Food that does not disappoint at all! We ordered the butter chicken, lamb korma and chicken tikka masala, plain naan and a butter paratha (good but will take naan in the future as its half the price and not so much different. All absolutely delicious! The restaurant tends to be very busy in the evening and very quiet over lunch. Not a very budget friendly menu but definitely worth it and also not overly expensive. They previously allowed us to bring our own wine without having to pay a fee as they don't have a liquor license which is nice. Friendly manager/waiter and vibey Indian music. Very basic decor and bathroom (clean). Looking forward to go again.

We popped in for a bite together on a week night. I made an early reservation for about six thirty and we arrived about that time. Seems like they struggled a bit to find our reservation, but it was found reasonably fast. The place was already quite full and we were led to a table for two near to the middle of the restaurant. It feels a bit sparse and cold with no floor covering. There was one waiter, a table clearer and a manager in the small space. That could be sufficient, but doesn't work for them.Service feels attentive, but amateurish and awkward. We also had a very long wait as they attended to take away orders first, and there were many. Perhaps they should consider having a separate take away section.
All is forgiven once the food arrives though. Wow! Absolutely fantastic! Yes, exclamation marks are necessary. If you like hot indian fare, this place is for you. The flavours are authentic, deep and comforting. We should have stopped eating and taken some home, but we couldn't. We finished everything except for the rather large samoosa starter (four big samoosas with green chutney, spicy). still nice the next day as well.
We had two types of lamb curry. The mrs had a very creamy version, that she wouldn't have again. Not to her taste, but very good. she finished it. And i had a tomato based spicy curry that she really liked. We avoided vindaloo, rogan josh and butter chicken, as they are just too run of the mill and we like new things. A pity I can't remember the names of the options we chose. I would encourage you to try the other options though. It's worth it.
I see why people do take out. You may not want the restaurant experience, but the food is just that good. You have to get your fix.
I would recommend this place.

I've never had a bad meal at Moksh. I've had better Indian food but for a local restaurant it's very good. So u have that local flavour where you are known and you also meet many friends while u dine. Also unlicensed so you can byo at no cost
Also good value for money. Also need to book so u can see its popular.

From the off-street parking, to the authentic interior, I can not fault this restaurant. Except for our desperate need to go back!!!
Our waiter helped us decide on a starter platter for 2, giving us a taste of 4 different items. We each ordered a different, flavoursome curry with a delicious garlic naan bread to share.

We usually get our take-aways from this branch, and will continue do so! Thanking everyone at Moksh (especially Rush and his co-worker) for fantastic service and food.
