This place is a such a gem. After visiting La Cocha, we drove further into Putumayo and came across this peaceful spot. Chef Charrito makes all her recipes from scratch and took the time to explain how she made many of the dishes. My wife and I had trout with garlic sauce, sancocho soup, and sides of salad, rice, patacones, and a small dessert (all for maybe $7 USD). The rest of our family tried their steak with chimichurri sauce, breaded pork milanesa style, and grilled chicken. has Versus La Cocha, this was a lot less touristy and affordable. It's clearly a family run business and we liked how you could walk afterwards a block to the hot springs, talk with the owners, and take in the peaceful countryside. All in all, an excellent experience with very good authentic, home-cooked food. We'll be back!
