Stayed a night In the new barn - excellent a super nights sleep.
Excellent bathroom with a super shower. - loved the taps.
Food Excellent as always.
Nice lake to wonder round and kids love the pool and surroundings.
Excellent location.
5++ al the way certainly will stay again in due course.

Room Tip: Opt for the barn if you have two kids. - other family rooms are also very good - stayed over the years in 5 different rooms.

We stayed here three years ago, and thought we'd try it again, and were well pleased.

Its a hotel with a difference - the are a few rooms in the main building, then some lovely old Norfolk farm building conversions which is where we have stayed, and some new additions over looking their small lake, which from the outside look super. Our rooms which were for family spacious and well fitted, as too was the en suite. Beds comfy, and although the hotel is situated just off the A47 which runs just behind it, it is surprisingly quite.

The restaurant to us is perhaps a disappointment in as much as it does not have any outlook, and somehow feels somewhat claustrophobic. It desperately needs some form of aircon or ventilation as it was particularly hot at the time, and they seem reluctant to open doors and windows to get some air though for some reason. However, the food is delicious. We stayed DB&B for three nights and were well satisfied each evening. Not a big choice, but certainly good enough for us, and the meals were well presented and expertly cooked with enough choice.

The owners and staff are all lovely - and we look forward to staying again.

Room Tip: If the new rooms over looking the small lake are available go for one of them - very tranquil.

Haven't stayed here, but attended a Golden Wedding Anniversary party on the 14th July.
The food was very good especially for the amount of people they were catering for.
It all came out promptly, fresh and Hot.
The waiting staff were very friendly and accommodating.
They allowed the "Golden Couple's" grandchildren to "perform" and didn't hurry us at all.
Lovely setting with lake and pond.
Want to come back very very soon and try the Hotel facilities.
Thankyou so much for such and enjoyable all round experience, (also for looking after my daughter's lost doll), which unfortunately, can be very rare .

This is my 4th week staying at Greenbanks and what a delight each stay is! The bedrooms and reception areas are innovatively designed, by Jenny's creative expertise and are all beautifully appointed. Location is always key to any memorable stay and Greenbanks has an idyllic lake, woodland and garden setting and much thought had gone into creating a very attractive Eco friendly environment.
Delicious locally sourced food, beautifully presented is served in the cosy dining room.
Run by a very friendly team,Greenbanks is well worth a visit.

I stayed 8 nights in one of the new self catering apartments in the barn while I was working in the area and would thoroughly recommend Greenbanks. It made an extremely convenient base, with the car parked right outside, and everything I could need provided, plus a nice view over the lake. The appliances and fittings were all of high quality and wifi worked well.I got time for the occasional swim in the pool, which was bigger than I had expected. The staff were all extremely helpful.

Room Tip: If you are easily disturbed by early morning light, you might want to think about the other options at Greenbanks apart from the self catering barn. The east facing wall to floor sliding windows, which are great in most ways, do let quite a lot of early morning light despite the blinds.
