We stayed in this cosy cottage recently during a short getaway with friends. It is really well equipped and has all the mod cons of a modern property without losing that quaint cornish miners cottage feeling that we had hoped for. There are plenty of small shops in the village and good food at the local pubs as well as beautiful costal walks nearby. St Ives is also just a short car journey away. We would certainly recomend staying here!
We have visited Littlecot on numerous occasions over the past few years and the fact that we keep returning, proves how much we enjoy our stay there.
The cottage is small but beautifully formed with all amenities that are needed for a stay away in this beautiful part of the country. Cot Valley is a short walk away as is Cape Cornwall (well, a slightly longer walk perhaps). The area is superb for bird watchers (my husband) and we have seen basking sharks and Dolphins on many occasions too.
It doesn't matter that we revisit our favourite haunts each time - St Ives, Pendeen, St Michaels Mount, Mousehole, Sennen, Porthcurno and the Minack Theatre to name just a few. Littlecot is an oasis to return to after a busy day exploring and we use the outside picnic table and seats to enjoy a quiet glass of wine in the evening.
We sleep like logs whilst we are away, the area is very quiet with just the sound of laughing children coming from the nearby primary school.
Parking is free and just a short stroll away.
Thanks Sue and Charlie for a great time. We will definitely be rebooking very soon.
