We visited Kuala Kubu Bharu & chanced upon this bakery, which looked nice. Got a few packs of kaya puffs & the uncle gave us one to try. You could really taste the kaya, unlike the one we tried in Ipoh.

They had other interesting things on sale, but as they didn't take card payments, we had insufficient cash to try the other products - the butter cake looked nice!

Worth a visit when you're in KKB!

Kaya puff is good and the owner is what we called good nice small town folk! Offer my daughter a free kaya puff to try when she asked whether they were open for business. Kaya puff is flaky different from those in Ipoh! More dense, size bigger, we love it.

The shop is too small to wander but you can ask the staff for pastries. Staff are helpful. The panda cake is especially delicious.

Great customer service. The cup cakes and kaya puffs were excellent. A simple shop with excellent and friendly service. Prices are very affordable. Highly recommend this place.

This Bakery in the small town of Kuala Kubu Bharu is one of the most nostalgic places in Malaysia. Ranging from original butter cakes and kaya puffs to a new variety of confectionaries, this place is the key to unlocking a memory you never knew you had.
The pastries and confectionaries go well with our Malaysian original Teh Tarik and Coffee. Soaking the delicous pastry and eating it after, will give you a sensation that simply can't be described. You will just have to try it yourself. 😋
