Description: Mjølner is created in Thor’s image and deliver’s a unique dining experience, offering our guests escapism with the enjoyment of fine food and world class beverages. Mjølner (pronounced Mjol-near) draws inspiration from the grand Asgardian feasts of Valhalla, where the Viking Gods indulged their senses both day and night. The restaurant combines historic Viking features with contemporary Scandinavian design.

We went as a couple to try the restaurant for the first time. We were looked after by DanR who was very attentive and enthusiastic, which added to the experience. The food was fantastic, as was the atmosphere. We will be back!

It was my partner's birthday so i decided to surprise him and take him to this amazing place. This food had lived up to the hype on the internet as well as the interior design and items on the menu however, the service could have been a lot better.
She seemed to only care about the larger tables and push smaller tables aside, as for someone who works in the hospitality industry, i do understand the difficulty of attending to each table, however it wasn't very busy. When she did check back, she seemed to be rushing us and just wanted to clear the table. (it said in our booking there was a 2 hr seating time, however we were barley past 1 hr)
She also seemed to give my partner and I attitude throughout the night when I asked simple questions such as "what cocktails do you recommend?" and etc. This place is well worth the trip to the city, but the service could've been so much better.

I was really excited try something new and this place looked like it could be what I was looking for.
Food was tasty, just music wasn't in theme which was BIG downer to whole atmosphere!
We had also little trouble with booking online by phone. Wanted to book table for 4, but when we booked Tuesday it showed up confirmation for wrong day. Anyway we sorted it out as booking for next day, it went ok for day we wanted :D
We went for sharing style, had 2 entrees, big roasted lamb, chicken + 3 sides with 2 desserts to finish and we were stuffed. Would not say that sizes are enormous but definitely food is rich and filling.
Each of us had 1 cocktail. They have really big menu to choose from! Some of them are interesting indeed, with chili, cone, herbs or other crazy stuff.
To summarize, whole dinner was worth it, stuff was attentive and we would visit this place again!

We dined at Mjolner last month, and loved it. It's not the biggest menu in town but we knew that before going, and chose to share our dishes. The tri tip and gravalax were both tasty, and we were more than happy with our Daily Beast of falling-apart lamb with crispy kale. The flambe dessert was a delicious bit of theatre & we had a great experience. It's not the cheapest; we enjoyed it for the total experience that is Mjolner

Now yes they do give you a shot of honey meed to start and you are paying for the “theme” of a Viking restaurant but $42 for a half a chicken is just pain rude. Ohh that doesn’t include any sides. Some carrots or potatoes are going to be extra. It’s clear this place is for the #instafamous. Everyone is shooting away at their food and taking selfies drinking beer out a horn. Once the novelty wears off you feel a bit ripped off at the expensive prices for ok food and what’s worse is there isn’t enough of it for the money. Fine charge us a lot but either feed us like Vikings or don’t.
