Owner description: Circular Quay is a colorful port where ferries and cruise ships board and depart, and boat watching can be as good a pastime as people watching. While street performers entertain outside, those wanting a more cultural experience can head into the Museum of Contemporary Art where a sculpture garden on the roof is as much a view as the waterways below.

Not to be missed for strolling, dining, entertainment, vistas of Opera House and Bridge. Great for people-watching.

With the din of trains running overhead coupled with the hooting horns from the arriving / departing ferries you know that you have arrived at circular quay in Sydney . What a location , you have the harbour bridge on one side and on the other you have the majestic Sydney opera house .Regular Ferries transport you to all points in the harbour . If you are not interested in a boat trip its well worth taking a walk to see the Opera house , have a bite to eat in the many resturants but beware the shops ( in particular the convenience shops ) are a total rip off .

Central location with access to harbor ferries, trains, Opera House and Royal Gardens entrances. Numerous restaurants with all types of menus from seafood to burgers and pizza. Also has many shopping stores to satisfy the other half. There are may hotels close by, walking distance and our favorite is the Shangri-La, great service!

The jumping off point to board a cruise ship or ferry of the harbor....Ferries to Manly is a wonderful day trip as so much to do once you get there and getting there is spectacular on the harbor...

This is like the mid-point between Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. In addition, it’s also the main ferry terminal and train station. Lots of cafes and shops around, but things can be a bit pricey. Just grab an ice cream, enjoy the buskers and soak up the atmosphere.
