Have been a few times when in Sydney
The food never disappoints.
All dishes ordered where excellent . Duck pancakes , salt and pepper prawns, wagu beef red curry, dumplings,
They make great martini
The only reason not scored highest was they automatically charge extra for credit card . I find this ridiculous for the prices you are paying.
Plus they could not understand a debit card is not a credit card and they would not be charged
Arrogant attitude of manager was very disappointing

Thank dannymele

We were there for my daughter’s hens lunch. There were about 35 of us. Service was wonderful and the food is to die for. Particularly recommend the scallops and pork belly.

Fabulous position and views. Just be aware that it is quite expensive.

Would highly recommend this restaurant.

We travelled out of central Sydney as recommended to the area. Walking along the row of restaurants this one stood out as buzzy and busy and when we asked about a table the response was so friendly and helpful, despite them being pretty much booked up, that we knew it was worth waiting a short while for a table. We got a great table outside so we could people watch and there's a lovely view across the harbour area. Our waitress was really helpful on the menu and helped us get a good selection. The belly pork dish was a highlight and the greens delicious. We were so full, but then out waitress brought us a free dessert selection! It was lovely, the coconut rice was excellent. We didn't have time to go back sadly. Great place, feels like a locals favourite and not too touristy. Highly recommend.

I could repeat brilliant a number of times. The service from everyone, food quality, creativity, variety and presentation, were all brilliant. The portion sizes in the banquet adequately satisfied each of the 8 diners. This was one of the best dining experiences I've enjoyed in a number of years. Highest recommendation.

Booking was for 6:00 pm - arrived at 5:50 and they sent us away!! Seriously guys - with the number of clients you seat in the one sitting, why not accomodate your guests 15 mins before? At the very lest, that info should be provided with the booking confirmation, Not particularly welcoming especially when it's raining - had it not been a group booking, I would have simply moved onto the next restaurant where we went for an aperitif and stayed there all evening.
The staff were run off their feet all night - we hardly saw the sommelier - missed opportunity yet again.
Then we were asked what dessert we wanted - when the dessert platter was included as the $88 banquet selection we had chosen. Very poor service really for the charges. There's considerably better available in Sydney for this price range.
No advice on the menu offered, no information provided on the cuisine, style, provenance...
And - it was more like a degustation than a "banquet" in terms of how everything was served and the style.
PS - The duck was not good - we were a table of 8 and none of us enjoyed the duck.
We won't return and would not recommend this to any of our friends.
Just "OK" is not good enough.
