This Museum has a beachside setting and many unique exhibits, including fantastic Indigenous artworks, Indonesian fishing vessels and local flora and fauna (the famous croc exhibit ‘Sweet Heart’ is a must see). Have a coffee and cake or lunch on the deck afterwards or wander over to the Ski Club for a refreshing ale and watch the sun set.

This was better than expected. Details of the Christmas cyclone that flattened Darwin in the seventies amongst other interesting stuff.

You have to see 'Sweetheart'.... of course. However, the talented artistry on display of indigenous Australian has to be seen...
It's free... and they have free wifi (and its GOOD)! You do have to get a locker if you have a backpack, but its a refundable $2...
Very good exhibit on Cyclone Tracey also! Do the sound room! Also a good exhibit on native fauna!
Def worth a visit - we took the HopOn-HopOff Bus out there.
