Staff were excellent, giving us an upgrade on arrival, very friendly and helpful throughout the stay (including bar staff) the free chocolate and rose given to me by the bar staff when I was moaning about Valantines day was a very sweet thing to do!!

The room was great for our needs (the only slight complaint was that there was only one bin and that was in the bathroom)

I will definitely stay here again.

We chose a Delux Studio and had a great view of the historic St Mary's Church and SouthBank from our window. Despite the traffic below, the room was very quiet. Our room was spacious, very clean and well appointed. The bed is super comfy. The buffet breakfast was good value and the pastries were the nicest I have tasted in Brisbane. The roof top terrace was not open when we were there, which was disappointing, as the photos look terrific. We will try to get back there on a Sunday when it is open.
The gardens around the hotel have a tropical theme and are well maintained. The parking is included with room price, so makes it an ideal location to stay, as it is close to the Brisbane CBD. The ferry hopper is quite close by in the Dockside precinct. Dockside is also a nice place for a stroll of an evening as it is well lit and had security walking the complex. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful and we would definitely choose the Point over similar CBD properties, as the location made us feel we were at a Gold Coast resort.

As tourists we ideally wanted somewhere on the Southbank but were put off by high wifi and parking charges so we settled on this place. Glad we did. Easy to find, easy free parking and a smart check in led us to a studio suite($20 upgrade per night) which was plenty good enough for us. Everything looked new, especially the bathroom.
The free wifi worked well. We used the restaurant for lunch once. Food was good but on the medium to small side in quantity for its price rather than medium to large. Bar was quite busy but comfortable. Again prices on the topside in my view.
The free ferry is literally five minutes walk away but only runs every half hour and takes half an hour to get to Southbank or the CBD. So as a tourist you need to plan your day. You can't just pop back to the room easily or cheaply. But as an overall package we would stay again

Had a great stay at The Point. The rooms were very clean and the staff most helpful. We especially found Colin, the concierge gentleman, gave excellent service and advice. Would definitely recommend friends to stay here.

I stayed here for a night on business. The hotel was clean and well priced. The Internet is strong and free. The shower had great pressure and parking was easy. The staff are great and helpful. The restaurant downstairs was good and no need to really go anywhere. The gym was only one treadmill and a bike and a machine but you cannot expect much. The pool was clean and nice. The only thing was the air con was real noisy and right above the bed. Even when I turned it off it woke me up a lot. Other than that. All good
