A BYO top restaurant - yes BYO! So we are extremely fortunate to be able to eat some of the most extraordinary Italian food you are likely to find anywhere for such a reasonable overall price.
The host, Leonardo from Sicily is effusive and so welcoming and obviously proud of this little place with such a warm ambiance.
Do bring some excellent red wines along to enjoy the superlative food. It has been so long since I have had a scaloppine that actually melts in your mouth (no knife required).
The meal started with the most beautiful bruschetta with the homemade pesto - so good and the dips are heartily recommended (especially if you like garlic).
For seafood lovers, the signature Etna di Mare must be chosen - a delightful mix of pan fried seafood in marsala, olives, cream, parmesan, snow peas and capsicum.
The vegetables that accompanied the scaloppine looked bright and beautiful and were perfectly cooked.
Desserts are sublime. Being Sicilian, definitely try the cannoli. Fine affogato too and one of the best tiramisu.
What a fabulous spot. Book early and book often.
